Fall is in full swing! Halloween is 2 days away and Thanksgiving has yet to pass, yet Christmas décor has already begun to appear in our malls, city streets, local stores and living rooms.
I know many people who start putting up their Christmas decorations in the beginning of November, weeks before Thanksgiving is here and we are still in the fall season.
It is beautiful this year in its color – shades and hues of wonderful yellow, gold, orange, bronze and reds. Nature provides the natural decorations for the fall season. Mother Nature’s last hurrah before Ole Man Winter takes back the earth.
Are we not embracing Thanksgiving enough? Homes already decked out for Christmas by the time Thanksgiving arrives. We give it a quick passing nod as we race to Black Friday and go full force into the Christmas holiday.
I would love to hear about your holiday decorating traditions. Do you start decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving or wait till the day after we give thanks.
For those of you who embrace one season at a time and love to decorate your home for that specific holiday here are some wonderful fall/Thanksgiving décor looks you can incorporate into your home to celebrate and enjoy!
